Silly Will and Sweet Em

Although I have three calendars (one on my fridge, one on my computer and of course the handy Blackberry), everyone knows that I'm not exactly a timely person.  I'm usually late, everywhere I go and my time management is not great, but I AM good at pulling it together and that's just what I had to do this morning.   My adorable clients arrived happy and right on time and I was in my robe (oops).  Fortunately, their Mommy and Grammy were very gracious and patient and helped me get some great shots of their precious twins :)

Sweet baby Adalae

I think someone told miss Adalae that she was headed to the doctor, not the photographer.  

But, despite that minor detail and the addition of some very helpful props (Timmy movie, dirt from the potted plant not yet blooming and a delicious cake with VERY purple frosting, we managed to get some really good shots of this ADORABLE one year old :)

Ok, I will also add that the real distraction came from the bubbles, courtesy of the twins, who thought of it and dared to come out of their room, even though every time they did I gave them the stink eye ;)

i heart faces and life slices

55 degrees, sunny, popsicles, friends.  Watching your 8 year old and her besties...that's a slice of heaven.

Vitamin Z

Contrary to popular opinion (blondie), my girls and I trekked on over to Royal Oak...simply to absorb the heat and humidity of the butterfly exhibit at the Detroit Zoo.  I bought our yearly membership, which I do hope to use, again.  And, although it was a sunny, crisp day outside, the warmth of that plant filled room was just what we needed.  For a few minutes we really felt like we had drifted south.  

Bonus...there was an AMAZING nature photography exhibit.  Here are three of our favorites...

Hey Jude!

This was a fun little shoot with two adorable little people...Jude and Marlow.  Thanks for coming over to the "shoebox" studio for some apples and M&M's.

So, I love Lila and she loves me, normally.  Today, not so much, but we worked it out and I had her laughing after no time :)  Little Clark, we will get to know each other.  Their mother, love her.
